ABOUT US

The official name of the club is Sun Country Aero Club, Inc. and is incorporated under the laws of the state of Florida as a non-profit corporation.

MISSION

The mission of the club is to promote the camaraderie and fellowship of pilots and provide a well-maintained aircraft for the members use at a reasonable cost. The club plane is a Cessna 172 based at Ocala International Airport/Jim Taylor Field, Ocala, Florida.

VISION

To provide a cost-effective solution for members of this flying club to keep pilots flying.

OFFICERS

The officers of the club are the President, Vice President of Maintenance and Secretary-Treasurer. These Officers shall comprise the executive board to handle all matters of policy which shall be presented to the members for majority vote for final approval.

Membership is limited to holders of a Private, Commercial or ATP Certificates. Each applicant shall provide a copy of their Airman Certificate, current Medical Certificate and current Biennial Flight Review as part of the application process.
